Christine K. Searson
Christine Searson is Vice President of Finance for Minnesota Community Foundation and The Saint Paul Foundation.
A five-year veteran of our finance staff, Christine is responsible for monitoring and carefully evaluating the organization's financial stability and reporting. As the Foundation's chief financial officer, Christine recommends appropriate actions to manage revenues, assets, expenses and related fiduciary or compliance obligations. She informs the respective boards and designated committees about all aspects of the organization's financial performance and stability.
Christine began her career in finance as an accountant, going on to work as a controller and then as chief financial officer of The San Francisco Foundation. She currently serves as the chair of the Council on Foundations Accounting Practices Committee.
Christine is a certified public accountant. She holds a Masters of Science from San Francisco State University and a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University.
