Pine River Watershed Protection Foundation
Founded in 1996, the Foundation was established to preserve and enhance water quality and resources covering 450 square miles of Aitkin, Cass and Crow Wing counties. This area includes 72 lakes and four streams that drain to the Pine River and on to the Mississippi.
