How to Apply:
- Applications may be submitted on behalf of residents of Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties by nonprofit organizations that are assisting them.
- We cannot accept applications directly from individuals.

The Fund is designed to be flexible, nonrestrictive and the true last resort - or only option - for many people. Applications are evaluated further based on some of the following factors:
- whether a grant will avert a life crisis
- whether there is reason to believe that the family or individual has a good chance of recovery from the crisis and can remain self-sufficient
- whether other resources are available to meet the need
