Lowertown Future Fund Grants

of The Saint Paul Foundation

Grants will be made to nonprofit organizations or neighborhood groups with a nonprofit fiscal agent working on projects to improve or enrich the Lowertown neighborhood, including grants for programs, studies for neighborhoods, or possibly even assisting construction of small buildings or other amenities.

The Fund can and may make multiple year commitments but is not likely to accept endowment requests. There are virtually no limits to the range of opportunity or imagination offered to grant requests as long as there is a reasonable and not contrived relationship to "Lowertown". Grant proposals should define expected outcomes and the means to measure or evaluate the success of a program.

Grants will be considered in a range of $1,000 to $100,000 - although thoughtful exceptions will be reviewed. The grantmaking schedule will follow a calendar cycle with two review meetings scheduled each year during the second week of April and October.
