Management Improvement Fund

The Management Improvement Fund provides funding to nonprofit organizations operating in, or serving, a substantial portion of their clients in the Twin Cities East Metro area (Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties). The MIF is specifically targeting the leadership and capacity needs of groups and organizations serving neighborhoods and cultural communities.

The MIF makes grants for technical assistance and consultation to help improve the capacity and management of nonprofit organizations. Past MIF-funded projects have addressed management and fiscal needs, training and development for board members or staff, and skill development to meet the diverse and changing needs of the East Metro area.

Please note: All interested applicants are required to contact Jerry Timian, program officer, at 651.325.4286 prior to submitting an application to ensure that the Fund fits your organization's needs.
