What is my applicant student ID number?

You may use your 10-digit phone number as your student ID number.

Error message: "That number already exists."

This message appears if another member of your household is applying online

using this system. Please select a different phone number to enter.

Should I fill out a paper or online application?

First, read the eligibility guidelines for scholarships listed on this site. If an online application is available, follow the link provided.

If it is not, paper applications can be downloaded. If you are eligible for multiple scholarships, fill out an online application only once.

Can I use a paper application even if it's available online?

No. Only online applications are accepted in these instances.

You will not be able to use paper applications from previous years.

The application is not working properly.

Having trouble viewing the application or filling out form fields?

You must use Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.

Be sure to allow pop-ups and cookies.

You can adjust these settings in the security settings.

What do I need before I begin?

Before you begin your application, you will need:

- a scanned copy of your transcripts (to upload)
- a scanned letter of recommendation (to upload)
- a list of your extracurricular and work experiences
- a written essay about your future goals (copy & paste from Word)

I cannot scan my documents.

If you do not have a scanner at home, try these places:

- the public library
- your school
- any organization or business that provides this service to the public

What happens after I fill in my information?

You will be directed to: "Scholarship Application-Recommend Scholarship Search."

That page will list one or more scholarships for which you are eligible.

Click "apply now" next to each scholarship listed to see if more information is needed.

Check the boxes that state that you are eligible for the scholarship.

Click "apply now."

Can I begin an application then finish it later?

Yes, but you will need to remember your user name and password.

Remember that incomplete applications will not be considered.

Be sure yours is complete and all needed documents are attached.

What is the application deadline?

Each scholarship has its own deadline. Check individual listings for the correct date.

What if the scholarship I thought I was eligible for doesn't appear?

Click "View all scholarships" on the recommended scholarships page to review eligibility requirements.

If you still think you are eligible for a scholarship that did not appear,

How do I check the status of my application?

Check the status page for updates.

If your application was submitted correctly, it will say "applied for"

next to the scholarship name.

When will I find out if I received a scholarship?

Most scholarships are awarded by June. You will receive notification by mail or e-mail.

Can I print a copy of my application for my records?

You can go back and print each page of your application after it is complete.

I missed the deadline. Can I still apply?

No. Applications are not accepted past the deadline.
